On 29 November 2009 Hachimantai kennel welcomed a new fantastic male Akita from Japan :

Kankuhomare Go Takashinohamasou .

Kanku (short for Kansai Airport in Osaka), born in April 2007, has everything to offer and already proved he's a perfect specimen of the breed as he won the "Wakainu (junior)" class at the 2008 Kansai Championship Show held by AKIHO. No light feat, given the enormous competition.
