New Akita pair from Japan in Hachimantai kennel
The purchase of a new Akita Inu pair ended our recent successful trip to Japan (2010). Our new male, Ibuki Go, was born in February 2010 in a famous kennel in Osaka and is out of (♂) Zuiko Go and (♀) Hotaru Go, which is one of the most popular Akita females in Japan after having won first prize for two consecutive years at the national AKIHO championships.
Our female, Akane Go, was born in December 2009 in Myagi prefecture and is out of (♂) Mikunihomare Go and (♀) Aoi Go.
It is certainly worth mentioning that both breeders we purchased our dogs from, presented males of their own breeding in the Meiyosho ring (ring of honour),
and both animals were granted the highest title which an Akita Inu may win in Japan: Meiyosho.
