Little Nihon Wonder in Hachimantai kennel

“Though he is conveniently sized, easy to groom, clean and quiet indoors, and not a nuisance underfoot, the Shiba Inu is not an easy-to-live-with lapdog, but a bold,
high-spirited, hardy "big dog" in a compact body.”

M. Welton

After given it quite some thought we finally decided to purchase our first Shiba Inu puppy from Japan .

Our new Shiba female, Tenjin No Harukaze was born in Kimura family kennel in March 2010. She is a daughter of JKC champions: (♂) Syunpu Go and (♀) Sekino Jo Go (both winners of the NIPPO grand show Jyun Saikousyo prizes). This little wonderful puppy is conveniently sized, sturdy, and strong with a wolf-like appearance and a foxy face, a thick coat, a curled tail, and she's extremely energetic, bold, spirited, smart and clever. We are already madly in love with her. And so will be her buddy, a fantastic 6 months old male, who will arrive here in July. More news to follow, surely...
