On the 22nd of May 2011 our dear Ranmaru Go, whom we kept in Japan for a little over a year, fully met our expectations as he won 1st place at the AKIHO Japanese championship held in Hanyu (instead of the annual Akita show traditionally held in Odate, Akita prefecture on May 3). Ranmaru left 22 other competitors shown in his class behind him.

No need to say that we're quite proud of that. And very happy with this smashing result!

Ranmaru and 3 more females from Japan will join the Hachimantai family on 29/05/11. Many thanks to Mr. T. Endo who handled Ranmaru at this important show as well as Mrs. Junko Furukawa for her very efficient help and understanding. More news will follow soon…
